It can be disheartening when you call someone and they do not answer you. People may not always answer or respond to your call, but when you call on the Lord––He will answer you.
Friends and family may ignore your cry, but God is right there beside you and He never ignores or rejects you when you call on Him.”
In Psalm 50:15 the Lord declares: “Call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you.” As children of the living God, our heavenly Father appeals to us to cry out to Him for deliverance. Let us be quick to cry out to Him with humility, sincerity, and faith.

When worry and deep concerns plague us, we toss and turn all night long — unable to sleep. But, when King David was surrounded by troubles and threats, he sang in Psalm 4:8,
In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O Lord, make me to dwell in safety.
What is causing you sleepless nights? Place those concerns and worries at the feet of Jesus. Rest in His arms, knowing that He is well capable of dealing with every single problem you are facing today.

Having an appetite for God’s Word is one sign that a person truly loves the Lord, for the Bible is food for the soul. Job said, “I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food” (Job 23:12). Jeremiah said, “Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart” (Jer. 15:16). Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matt. 4:4). The Bible is sweet to those who love it. Learn it and live it. As you savor the word, it becomes like honey to your soul, you cannot live without it.

I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3
God is All-powerful, the Creator of heaven and earth. He’s with us, always. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. He won’t allow us to fall. We may find ourselves on slippery slopes, or the path we’re walking may be full of potholes and obstacles. But the God, who knows all, knows our way. And even when we stumble, He will keep our footsteps firm. He watches over us and never sleeps nor slumbers. Let our eyes be fixed on Him.
